How Ignition started, what changed, and where we are today.
Ignition didn't start in 2026 — it started in 2021. The name and the country changed. The obsession didn't: helping businesses sell more without growing the team.
The first version was called FML, founded in Portugal at the end of 2021. Back then, the bet was on digital marketing — campaigns, content, paid traffic. The goal was always the same: make small and medium businesses sell more. The tooling was different. The lessons were the same.
By 2025, it was clear the playing field had shifted. AI had stopped being a buzzword and started being a worker — capable of qualifying leads, replying to clients, recovering overdue payments, and handling work that used to require full-time hires. We made a deliberate decision: rebrand, relocate, and rebuild around AI.
In February 2026, the company was officially incorporated as Ignition Sales Force Outsourcing LLC. We opened the doors with two clients already signed and have been building since.
Today we serve clients across four countries — Brazil, Portugal, Spain, and China — with a fifth, Italy, currently in negotiation. The work is global, the team is small, and every implementation replaces a manual process with an AI agent that runs around the clock — wherever the client is.
